Our platform provides a solution that empowers everyone everywhere with equal opportunities to create impact and cultivate wealth through ownership.
KOPA transforms income producing properties into dividend stocks. Essentially, it is the easiest and most accessible way to buy and sell fractional shares of cash flowing real estate. For Example:
What's more, while investors share in any property appreciation they also receive quarterly dividend payments from the rent generated by their properties.
You can find more information about how investors can use KOPA here.
KOPA can also be used to extract capital from your existing cash-flowing property assets without forfeiting your rights. For Example:
By fractionalizing a minority stake and listing a property on the KOPA Marketplace sponsors can invite everyone to join them in ownership, redefining success as a shared journey. Learn more about how Sponsors can use KOPA here.
Fees allow KOPA to be able to provide the services and provide the ongoing security to make sure that the properties you are invested in run in the best manner possible. As an Ownership Platform, KOPA is focused on providing the best and growing features for a low cost that is simple, transparent, and easy-to-understand. For that reason, we are proud to list fees on the platform here:
Kopa Fee
Every quarter renters pay rent, property remits ownership stake to Kopa investors. Kopa charges a maximum of 2% per year (or 0.5% per quarter), and only if your property makes money. If there a period of no cash flow for you, KOPA does not charge.
Transaction Fee
This is related to blockchain transactions and is not charged by Kopa directly. It is paid directly to the blockchain and is usually less than 1 cent.
No Hidden Fees
If you have seen other platforms, you may have realized that they charge a low headline rate, but then charge various fees that become quite complicated to calculate. Such fees include acquisition fees, sales fees, construction management fees, property management fees, brokerage fees, and others. KOPA does NOT engage in any additional fees other than the ones listed above.

Fractional property shares are slices of the equity in a property that allow you to own a piece of the property at an amount that you can afford. These slices get the same economic rights as any other property owner, so you get the same economic benefit no matter how much you invest.
Once all the original series shares of a property are sold, you can list your shares for sale, allowing other investors to buy them from you. Just remember that your sale will only happen after all the original series shares are sold. When you decide to sell, you can choose between market orders or limit orders for added flexibility.
Kopa Fee: Every quarter renters pay rent, property remits ownership stake to Kopa investors. Kopa charges an annualized 2% maximum fee. No fees during periods of no cash flow, and zero charges when selling your share.
Transaction Fee: This fee is related to blockchain transactions and is not charged by Kopa directly. It is paid directly to the blockchain and is usually less than 1 cent.

Property Impact is a core aspect of Kopa's commitment to responsible investing. We understand that real estate can have a far-reaching influence on both the environment and the communities it serves. In our dedicated ""Property Impact"" section, investors can explore how each property goes beyond its financial returns to create positive change.
We use distinct badges to provide insights into how each property contributes positively.
Because KOPA uses blockchain, all your money is within your own account. KOPA uses secure code that is verified by thousands of computers to send your ownership and money to your account. The blockchains we have used have never been hacked.
KOPA does not provide or sell your information to anyone for commercial purposes.
KOPA does use identity verification experts that ensure you are who you say you are and not on any anti-money laundering lists (to screen out terrorists, people who are known to do illegal activity by the U.S. government, and others who would like to take illegal money and "wash" it by investing in properties and taking out their proceeds). We do this at initial investment to make sure that everyone on KOPA Market is safe and can legally do business.
KOPA requests your identification verification when you make your first investment. You can enter your information to ensure you are verified and not on an anti-money laudering list.
Most people typically think of FDIC insurance when placing their money in an account. FDIC inurance is only for banks accounts that meet very specific requirements and are only allowed to use that capital in very specific ways.
However, FDIC insurance does not apply to any investment where someone makes a choice into what they put their money into, including big stocks like Apple and Caterpillar all the way down to individual home purchases.
So, because KOPA allows you to choose your investments, it cannot be FDIC insured. However, by it being in a blockchain wallet that is only connected to you and those you provide access to (that even KOPA does not have ability to change), your security is decentralized an far away from a centralized attack.
KOPA Market requires adequate insurance be on the properties that come on the platform based on normal conditions for the area.
So, if something happens to a property on KOPA that is in those policies, then the property insurance will be used.
You can see and monitor your investments on KOPA Market at any time.

Invest with US Dollars from your bank account or debit card. Or you can invest with supported stablecoins in crypto ($US Dollar Coin or $USDC)
You invest in increments of $5 in whatever properties are available. When a deal closes, you get your share of ownership into a Web 3 wallet and they are yours.
Every quarter, you get distributions in the same percentage of your ownership. You get them for as long as you own the property share.
After a year, you can sell them on a secondary market to anyone else on Kopa Market, where you can benefit from additional price movement.
You can connect to KOPA Market and invest using your checking or savings account. KOPA works with leading partners that verify your bank information and ensure you have enough capital to not be overdrawn.
You can also invest in KOPA Market via a debit card.
KOPA does not accept credit cards because their unpaid interest rates are high enough that they generally are much higher than real estate returns, and so using credit to own more on margin could actually make an investor worse off. That is the opposite of ownership, so we only allow debit cards.
Users need to set up a Web3 wallet or connect your existing crypto wallet to Kopa which only takes about 1 min to start investing at Kopa market. This is because your proof of share purchase will be stored in your wallet as NFTs, and your distribution is automatically deposited into your wallet every quarter.
